The Brady’s Botanicals Seed to Store whole-plant Growth Process

When it comes to whole-plant production, many companies cut corners to save money and have a higher yield. At Brady’s Botanicals, we make sure that our whole-plant products are the highest quality cannabis you can get. Read our seed-to-store process to learn where whole-plant comes from, how whole-plant extract is made, and what makes our whole-plant extract so special.

Where Does whole-plant Come From?

Hemp plants are complex. More than 400 compounds are present including the compounds you’re most likely familiar with: Delta-9 THC, Delta-8 THC, and CBD.

When you hear “whole-plant”, it simply means you’re getting cannabis within its original form. Where all compounds of the plant are used so you can get as many benefits as possible.

At Brady’s Botanicals, we grow high-quality hemp plants from seedlings. Our growing process guarantees that our products only contain the highest quality compounds — which means the best health benefits for you!

True Outcome Seedlings

Some cannabis companies ship in pre-harvested plants to save money and time while making their products. But you won’t find that here. Our hemp plants start out as seedlings planted in organic soil, which means at Brady’s Botanicals, we are with our plants from seedling to harvest. Our commitment to health means no pesticides, herbicides, or heavy metals — ever!

Hand-Harvested Buds

We grow our flowers in small batches so that we can hand harvest each and every bud. Flowers are very delicate and easy to bruise. Have you ever noticed that a flower looks like it’s covered in a beautiful sugary substance? Those are called resin trichomes, and they are what make the flower potent and powerful. Hand harvesting protects the heads of the flowers, which keeps the resin trichomes complete and intact.

Potency-Protecting Curing Process

We slow-cure our buds to increase their potency and preserve the taste and texture of the buds. If the flower is extraction bound, we keep our buds unbroken and unpressed to preserve their trichomes on their journey to the extraction lab.

Our Commitment to High-Quality Wellness Products

The Brady’s Botanicals Lab

Our lab is overseen by our research chemist and head staff chemist. We use high-quality tests to analyze everything from the bud to the finished extracts to ensure that the potency and quality of the products meet our high standards.

FDA Approved Third-Party Lab Testing

After we run our quality tests in the Brady’s Botanicals lab, we third-party test our products in an FDA-approved third-party lab. This testing helps to ensure the quality of our whole-plant products.

Pharmaceutical Grade Packaging

Most products are mass-produced and then mass-labeled, which gives up a lot of the quality control. At Brady’s, we are with our whole-plant products from seed to store. We use pharmaceutical-grade packaging to protect the potency and quality of our products.

Flower Spotlight: What Makes Our Flower So Effective

Our full-spectrum cannabinoid-rich buds are cultured to have high amounts of compounds and exquisite terpene profiles. Here’s some of what’s going on “behind the buds” to make the products so effective!

Full-Spectrum, whole-plant.

Full-spectrum means it contains compounds from the whole-plant – CBD, and all other cannabinoids in the plant. Other products, like Isolate and Broad Spectrum, strip away the other parts of the plant so you are only getting CBD.

Think of fresh, juicy peach. You can isolate one single nutrient in that peach, but taking a vitamin of that single nutrient won’t give you the same experience as eating the peach whole. Plus, your body absorbs the nutrients more effectively from the actual peach, not from a vitamin.

Full-spectrum, whole-plant products are the way to go when it comes to getting the entourage effect benefits. These benefits come from the various terpenes, plant-based cannabinoids, and body-produced cannabinoid benefits of whole-plant.

Terpenes

When you smell a woodsy pine tree or taste a citrusy slice of orange, you have terpenes to thank for the amazing smells and flavors. Terpenes are found in hemp strains, too!

While some companies add in terpenes from non-cannabis sources to give their products a certain smell, we use whole-plant products with rich terpene profiles to provide you the flavors and smells you love while preserving the full-spectrum, whole-plant effect.

Here are some of the wonderful terpenes in our products:

terpine-myrcene-lemongrass-1

Myrcene is an earthy, citrusy terpene that has muscle-relaxant, sedating, and anti-inflammatory properties that are enhanced by whole-plant effect.

terpene-b-caryophyllene-cinnamon

terpene-linalool-lavender

Plant-Based Cannabinoids

These compounds in our products come from plants and bind to receptors within your endocannabinoid system.

THC

Our products contain legal Delta 8 THC, while most regulated products contain Delta 9 THC. Delta 8 THC is structured differently molecularly than Delta 9 THC. It doesn’t get you “high” and is completely legal in Pennsylvania.

CBD

Emerging research and clinical data demonstrate the potential benefits of CBD for medical conditions and mental health benefits. CBD comes from hemp, which is part of the Cannabis sativa strain. Hemp is non-intoxicating, so it won’t get you high.

CBG

CBG is a potent, non-psychoactive cannabinoid. CBG can combat pain without the intoxicating effect of THC-9. There is much less CBG in a hemp plant than whole-plant, making it a very special and rare cannabinoid.

Body-Produced Cannabinoids.

These compounds are naturally produced in your body and can be increased or enhanced with our whole-plant products.

2-AG and Anandamide

2-AG and Anandamide are body-formed cannabinoids that help with inflammation, mood, emotion, pain perception, memory, reproductive health, and sleep cycle regulation.
